모시풀 에탄올 추출물의 항산화 및 항신경염증 효과
본 연구에서는 모시풀 에탄올 추출물의 항산화와 항염 효과를 조사하였다. 먼저, 에탄올 추출물의 radical 소거 능력은 DPPH radical assay를 통해 시험하였다. 그 결과, 우리는 에탄올 추출물이 DPPH radical을 농도 의존적으로 제 거되었음을 확인하였다. 또한, 에탄올 추출물의 항염 활성을 확인하기 위하여 LPS를 처리한 BV-2 cell에 에탄올 추출 물을 처리한 결과 에탄올 추출물이 NO의 생성을 농도 의존적으로 저해한 것을 확인하였다. 이 모든 결과들을 종합해 봤을 때, 모시풀 추출물은 활성산소와 염증반응에 대한 저해효과를 나타냈으며 퇴행성 신경염증 질환 예방 또는 치료 용 약학 조성물로 이용 가능함을 보여주었다.
Antioxidants and Antineuroinflammatory Effect of Ethanol Extracts from Boehmeria nivea (L.) Gaudich
In this study, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory of ethanol extracts from Boehmeria nivea (L.) Gaudich. were investigated in vitro. Radical-scavenging activities of the ethanol extracts were examined by using α,α- diphenyl- β-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radicals assay. Consequently, we confirmed that DPPH radical is removed depends on the concentration of ethanol extract. Also, to confirm anti-inflammatory activity of ethanol extract, we treat ethanol extract on BV-2 cell with LPS. So, the result showed that ethanol extract concentration dependent inhibited NO production. Therefore, this results showed that ethantol extract from Boehmeria nivea (L.) Gaudich. is effective against inhibition of radical oxygen activities and have available for a pharmacological composition on neuritis-protection and treatment.
